Only one more day in this terrific place. Goodbyes have already started. I've managed not to cry, but it's hard. It's so different. It's hard saying goodbye to people at MCLA at the end of the year, but we know that for the majority of us we will be returning and most of us live in the area. Now I'm saying goodbye to people that lives across the states and in other countries, and when we return to Galway it will not be the same because we won't be with these people.
But on a happier not there's only another 1 1/2 til I get to see my family, 1 3/4 days til I get to see matt, and 3ish days til I get to see my MICKLAH family! |

I feel better about being here today. It was nice out this afternoon so I went for a walk along the river to see the castle. It started rain on my way back, but it was gorgeous because it was sunny on one side and then cloudy on the other side of the river. So I saw a double rainbow!! It was so clear and pretty..and I didn't have my camera, damn. Kaitlin and I started cleaning the apartment for inspections. It actually looks pretty good in here right now.
I got to talk to my dad but then his battery on his work phone died, which sucked. But I'll be home in 5 days! |

Who knew that this time would come, but I'm ready to go home. I've absolutely loved it here and next semester when I have to do school work I'm going to wish that I was chilling in Ireland, but I'm ready to go home and see my family. I don't like not being there for my friends. It's not something I'm used to. I'm the person that likes to do everything I can for the people I care about and I've realized I can't do that from here. How am I supposed to talk to them and give them hugs when they're down? This has been the greatest experience of my life, but I don't think I could've handled staying the whole year. It's hard when people tell you everything will fall back into place when you walk back on campus. I feel so loved and I can't wait to see them. I miss them so... |

It's icky outside. So I stayed up way late last night, but it was hilarious looking through this old LJ and talking to Lisa and the boy. So I've been done with my finals since November 27th. Maybe I'll actually start this whole LJ thing up again...it probably would've been useful this semester, but oh well.
I can't believe I go home in a week. I'm so excited to see my family, both blood and MCLA relatives, but it's going to be hard to leave here. We all knew this semester would go fast, but who knew it would fly by like this. Next semester is going to be wierd when I have course overload and can't just hope a plan to another country on weekends. But I'll be reunited with the core! Can't wait... |

The past few days have been really long. Nothing to exciting. I did the radio show today, but didn't feel like talking so I did what I love and just played music and the "you're listening to the new WJJW 91.1" clip and vented with lisa. *hugs*
After such a long day I can't believe my hopes are flying so high right now. I almost wish he hadn't brought it up. There's no way either of our parents will like this. It's gunna be "he just wants to study there because she is." It's crazy. Yet, part of me loves the idea, no matter what they think. Who wouldn't want their boyfriend to be at the same school as them for a semester.
I feel like I'm going to crash. I want to go home so bad tonight. Some days I don't know if I can take things anymore. I need a break. I can't wait until Thanksgiving, when I get to see my favorite people from back home. It's funny how the holiday that we spend with our "family" is one of my favorites. I love my real relatives to death, but Thanksgiving I get to spend with the people that have done so much for us and who are like my second set of parents and siblings. And I get to see the guy I care about more than anything. It's going to be great. |

Today was pretty great...other than being awakened. But at least I know my heat works now and we have supplies for lounge decorating. Had "Monster Mash" today. No one really stayed for the movie, but me and lisa got chill time with Caissa which was rather cool and people came and made lots magnets. It was fun.
Then Lisa and I went to movie gallery. Got to love sales on used DVDVDS! (= And then there was music box..TOOTHPICK IS AWESOME! And they wanted us to go party. Lol. like I can do that. But we were dorks and bought cds and had them sign them. Good times.
Five months..I can't believe it. I go thru this every month. Like oh my gosh, this is so real and I love it. I can't imagine things being any different. I don't want this to ever end, because it just keeps getting better. (= |

So today had a few headaches, but over all it was pretty good. The dryer I tried to use last night didn't work so I was up late doing laundry. Then this morning I had the worst midterm ever. Gotta love when they aren't what the teacher makes them sound like. Oh well, hopefully everyone else did bad too. After that I spent half an hour in the computer lab with Lisa having a very entertaining conversation...on AIM. Then it was off to psych. Didn't do too great on my last test, but I passed so it's all good. Then I grabbed lunch and went to the mailroom where I had a package from Matt's mom. It was really sweet of her.
And of course I had class at 2...and then it was time to set up for Boo Bash. A little scary at first, but we pulled it off. ANd it was actually kind of fun after all. The scenes they did were really funny. And i only got a minor headache from the strobe light. Afterwards I realized I hadn't eaten much today and had missed dinner so I order Crab Ragoon and it was yummy.(=
